No silo without a hopper, of course. The hopper plays a crucial role in product flow and overall efficiency. At SCE, we take it a step further with our patented butterfly hopper. Its uniform angle around the entire bin ensures excellent product flow and eliminates dead spaces where material could get stuck.

There are two kinds of flow: mass flow and funnel flow. In funnel flow, a central funnel forms, causing goods on the sides to remain longer in the silo, potentially leading to decay and contamination of fresh goods. That's why all our silos are designed to guarantee mass flow, where all goods move down at the same rate. This ensures that all goods conform to first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle, resulting in optimal hygiene and product quality.

Our square silo blocks maximize space and efficiency. They offer up to 40% more storage on the same footprint compared to round bins. By sharing walls between adjacent silos, we save both space and materials, making every project more efficient and cost-effective.

We design and deliver the entire steel structure of your process building. Our modular silo blocks are seamlessly integrated into the overall framework, supporting part of the structure. This smart integration once again saves both space and materials, resulting in a more efficient, compact, and cost-effective process building.

Once the structure is complete, we take care of the entire finishing phase. From cladding to roofing, doors, windows, fire escapes, and roof hatches, every detail is meticulously designed and built to last. The result is a fully enclosed, weatherproof, and durable building that perfectly houses and protects your plant.
