SCE contributes to large flour & pasta project in Mali
Context
Moulin Moderne du Mali, part of the Keita Group, is specialized in the production of pasta and flour. As the company was seeking to optimize its production processes, they decided to work with SCE for the installation of turnkey tempering bins and storage bins for flour. A storage extension to its existing feed mill was also delivered.

Our excellent reputation in the food industry and many references on the African continent convinced Moulin Moderne du Mali to rely on us for this ambitious project. We were in charge of the design, production and installation of a modular silo building, consisting of a steel structure, square bins, the cladding and roof construction.
Optimized flour production
We delivered 42 bins for the storage of raw materials (hard wheat, soft wheat, maize, millet and sorghum) to efficiently supply the production lines. The waste product, cereal bran, is used for the production of cattle feed. The total project took 50 weeks. This created 123 jobs in the Sébougou area so it had a positive impact on society as well.
